Last night a strange phenomenon took place in the night sky. 

Experts tell us it was an unusual meteor shower. Reports say bright purple flashes were seen across the city.

However, no such showers should have been visible at this date.

Multiple emergency calls were made during the night as it seems some people have experienced some form of shrinking. This appears to have happened quickly as the flashes were visible. Experts are baffled and we don't currently know if these weird circumstances are related. But for now the general consensus seems to be that the effects are not dangerous in any way.
